Coming soon to a Cadillac dealer near me or you is a sporty and luxurious new small sedan for the new decade. The new Cadillac CT4 is the latest addition to Cadillac’s popular CT sedan line, joining its big sister the CT6 to deliver the performance and luxury you have come to associate with the Cadillac brand in a powerful new design. This four-door turbocharged little sedan will give you the power, performance, and luxury that you are looking for in your brand new Cadillac. The CT4 will be replacing the ATS in the Cadillac product line, and it features even more interior space than its predecessor. Here at Frank Kent Cadillac, we will be getting plenty of new CT4 models in every trim level for you to choose from wherever you may live in the greater Dallas – Fort Worth area.

Four New CT4 Trims

The CT4 comes in four different models. The entry-level model is the CT4 Luxury, and it features a 2.0-liter turbo 4-cylinder engine. This produces 237 horsepower with 258 lb-ft of torque on an 8-speed automatic transmission. The CT4 Premium Luxury and CT4 Sport add a 2.7-liter turbo 4-cylinder engine with more get-up-and-go. This upgraded engine produces 309 horsepower and 348 lb-ft of torque on a 10-speed automatic transmission. The top-of-the-line is the CT4-V, and it is one powerful little sedan. Its high-output 2.7-liter turbo engine features a unique three-step sliding camshaft that helps to optimize your performance at all speeds. It is rated to produce up to 320 horsepower and an astounding 369 lb-ft of torque on a 10-speed automatic transmission. The Environmental Protection Agency has not yet released its estimates for the fuel economy of the 2020 Cadillac CT4.

Cadillac has not released its official pricing for the all-new 2020 CT4, but industry estimates are a base MSRP of $33,900 for the CT4 Luxury, going up to an estimated MSRP of $38,490 for the CT4 Premium Luxury, an estimated MSRP of $39,590 for the CT4 Sport, and an estimated MSRP of $45,490 for the CT4-V. If these price estimates are accurate, it will give the Cadillac CT4 a more affordable price point than its main vehicle class competitor, the BMW 2 series.

A Rear-Wheel Drive Performance Luxury Sport Sedan for a New Era!

All-new 2020 Cadillac CT4 models come with rear-wheel drive, although all-wheel drive is available as an upgrade. This has the effect of giving the line eight actual trim levels to choose from. In addition, all CT4 models use the same front-strut type independent rear suspension. The CT4-V features Magnetic Ride Control 4.0, which provides active damping and a mechanical limited-slip rear differential. This will improve the ride on your brand new CT4-V, giving you greater control along with the increased power from its 2.7-liter turbo engine. Each CT4 sedan also comes with Bosch electric power steering with variable assist to enhance your drive. The CT4-V adds specific calibration and the option for Cadillac’s Super Cruise system, a driver assistance system that maintains steering and speed control, to the package. This will give you the ride you crave, whether driving to work in Fort Worth, or you are just going for a joy ride around the town.

Speaking about control, the rear-wheel drive CT4 has a turning radius of 37.1 inches on its 109-inch wheelbase, able to get you out of the tightest spots. The all-wheel drive version is just slightly longer at 38 inches of turning radius. For safety, all CT4s come equipped with 12.4-inch rear rotors. The CT4 Luxury and CT4 Premium Luxury feature 11.8-inch front rotors. The CT4-V and CT4 Sport use 12.6-inch front rotors with Brembo six-piston fixed front calipers, better able to handle the sport-tuned profiles of these powerful little vehicles. The CT4 Luxury will feature 17-inch Continental, self-sealing, all-weather tires, while the CT4 Premium Luxury and CT4 Sport are to be equipped with 18-inch tires. The self-sealing tires allow you to continue to drive on them following small punctures without risking damage to your rims. The 2020 Cadillac CT4-V will feature 18-inch wheels with run-flat summer-only tires on the rear-wheel drive version, with the all-wheel drive version featuring all-weather tires. This is in keeping with the design of CT4-V as the ultimate performance version of this new line.

Infotainment Meets Driving Entertainment

Cadillac has equipped all of its brand new 2020 Cadillac CT4 sedans with the latest in its infotainment system. This is based on Cadillac’s new electrical architecture, featuring a full-color touchscreen. This will allow you to take advantage of over-the-air updates on your new CT4, receive high-speed signal transmissions, and be protected by the latest in cybersecurity features. In addition, the infotainment system features the integration of information with entertainment, all at the touch of a touchscreen. This system also features Bluetooth for hands-free calls, HD radio, SiriusXM, OnStar telematics, 4G LTE WiFi, plenty of USB ports for you and your passengers, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, depending on the operating system of your smartphone. The CT4-V has an upgraded Bose audio system. While you are enjoying driving your brand new CT4, your passengers can be entertained by the myriad features on the Cadillac infotainment system.

Luxury Comes Standard on the All-New CT4

You are sure to feel inspired by all the standard luxury features on your CT4. All 2020 Cadillac CT4 sedans come standard with keyless entry and push-button start, dual driving-information display with speedometer and tachometer, LED interior lighting, dual-zone climate control with a humidity sensor, and leather-wrapped steering wheel. The 2020 Cadillac CT4 Luxury and CT4 Sport come with synthetic-trimmed upholstery, which is upgraded to actual leather on the CT4 Premium Luxury and the CT4-V.

The CT4 Sport will also feature dark exterior graphics, transparent rear tail-lamp lenses, bolstered sport seating, body-color door handles and rear spoiler, a sport steering wheel with magnesium shift paddles, and alloy pedals. The CT4-V will have special trim features as well, including dark exterior accents, a special V-Series mesh grille, quad exhaust tips, and a unique rear spoiler design that helps to reduce rear lift while increasing grip for the CT4-V’s rear tires.

Safety Features of the All-New CT4

All 2020 Cadillac CT4 models will come equipped with a number of standard safety features, including anti-lock brakes, a high definition backup camera, and a tire pressure monitoring system. The CT4 Premium Luxury, CT4 Sport, and CT4-V add additional features as standard. Forward collision warning will notify you if a front impact is imminent. The automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection system will actually engage the brakes to prevent a collision, particularly with a pedestrian crossing in front of you. There is also a special safety alert that will vibrate to let you know if you are drifting or in danger of colliding with another vehicle. There are also other safety features available as upgrades, including adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, and rear cross-traffic alert with automatic braking.
